"Arey" originated in 2014 during Ukraine's Revolution of Dignity. Every person volunteering as a part of Arey has made a personal decision to help aid Ukraine themselves, and their collaborative strength is nothing short of incredible.

"It is the families we fight for, hold for, and push forward for. Without our families, we are not Ukrainian, and we cannot be Arey." --Anonymous Arey volunteer

Arey's medical volunteers have significant needs. The ambulance that Slava Ukraini is helping the volunteers of Arey raise money for is replacing one of three ambulances that have been lost on the frontlines recently. In addition to ambulances, Arey's medical volunteers are also in need of new training equipment and medical supplies fit for the level of a field hospital. Arey's volunteer medics and first responders are able to operate field hospitals because of well-equipped ambulances complete with Starlink connectivity and modern medical equipment built inside the ambulances that allows them to save lives while being in areas under attack. These teams have long lists of needs beyond one ambulance. Because of these needs, any funds raised beyond $7000 will go towards providing these volunteers with their critically needed supplies.

Beyond the ambulance and medical supplies, the volunteers are in need of the following:

  • Multicam gear (clothing) - volunteers spend their own money on things such as multicam gloves, pants, and helmets, among other things necessary to carry out their mission

  • IFAKs, also known as individual first aid kits

  • EcoFlow Delta 2 series power stations - generators create noise and rely on fuel, which has doubled in price, so EcoFlow rechargeable batteries are most practical, especially when power can be limited to as little as 3.5 hours per day for up to five months of the year.

  • 3 to 5 Starlink kits for better communication, administrative tasks, and ambulance needs - as Starlink capability advances, information is spread more quickly and efficiently, allowing first responders to react faster. It also allows first responders to coordinate better with other medics in the area they are in.

  • Stretchers
