If you are reading this, you likely know that disaster relief has been at the heart of my medical career. Many of you have stood beside me before—with your time, generosity, love, and trust—and I remain deeply grateful. Once again, I feel called to offer my time and skills to support the Ukrainian people as they endure the devastating human cost of war.

My partner, Paul Oppenheim, will be joining me in this effort. Together, we will work with Drive 2 Save Lives (D2SL), a UK-based organization that delivers vehicles and essential supplies to people in Ukraine who need them most. D2SL relies on volunteers to drive these vehicles from England to western Ukraine, where they can become vital lifelines for communities under extraordinary strain. This October, Paul and I hope to deliver two vehicles. We will personally fund one and are asking for your help to make the second possible. To do that, we need to raise $7,000 to cover the purchase of a reliable vehicle and the logistical costs of getting it from England to Ukraine.
