Fuel + Road Costs (and a postcard from Maple)

Fuel prices have skyrocketed recently, making our drives into Ukraine more costly. Volunteers often run into unforeseen costs such as countries along the way taxing humanitarian aid (yeah, we don't understand it either, depends on the mood of whoever's working a border crossing that day) and fixes for flat tires.

Our fleet of vehicles to be handed off to life-saving volunteers in Ukraine takes diesel fuel. If you're willing to help chip in, a $20+ USD donation gets you a postcard from Yana, also known as "Sergeant Maple Syrup" once we reach Ukraine. All donations are appreciated.

In total, this convoy will have:

  • 2 BMW Rapid Response Vehicles (Kharkiv, [redacted] location)

  • 3 Fiat Ducato Ambulances (Kharkiv, Bucha, Kryvyi Rih)

  • 1 Mercedes Ambulance (for everyone's safety this location is also [redacted] until it is delivered)

That's about a ~2200 miles/~3500 kilometres drive. We expect the vehicles to get a little thirsty.

In addition...

We are hoping to have enough funds to provide more aid in our Ambulances, specifically Starlinks and battery generators. When the mission is ready, we will definitely be providing photos of what went where!

Please use the button above to donate or click here. If you would like a postcard, it's important to write that in the form along with an address it can be sent to! These donations are tax deductible in the United States. Here's to our next journey alongside our friends at Drive 2 Save Lives in the UK!
